Union of Croatian Innovators
Large and heavy pieces of stone (so-called “bunjas”) were used to build old stone houses and their treatment required plenty of time and very hard chiseling. The technical issue resolved by this invention pertains to a process for providing an authentic appearance of old stone house walls by using a thin carved stone panel with a rough protrusion on the front panel after treating the flat edges. Untreated stone panels of different sizes and thicknesses are used. After treating the flat edges by manual chiseling, a treated stone plate for building is obtained. Treated stone panels in a row are all of the same height, but have the same or different widths. Such stone panels are used to build new or reconstruct existing walls of old houses.
