The communal waste water sludge cannot be deposited by actual environmental law. Being burnt with fossils or biomass waste to get it harmless needs considerable fuel consumption and causes air pollution. We compare the environmental impacts of alternative treatment methods of sewage sludge. From these possibilities the best solution was the incineration with preliminary drying according to our LCA calculation. The boundary condition of choosing the appropriate system was the daily volume of sludge. More than 25 m3/day sludge (dry matter >20%) offers electricity production, less than 25 m3/day sludge and/or dry matter between 14-20% needs a complex treatment. Our demonstration range system is suitable for treatment 500 t/year communal waste water sludge with 20% dry matter. Basic technological part of our processes is the special, new spiral significantly developed in heat and component transfer after being the sludge centrifuged or dried else. Waste water sludge with high moisture content is transferred in a special spiral system without axle (used for transportation of powder-like materials) in reverse-current, that has an outer covering
